You will notice that I have put in a new copy protection on my website today. It appears that there are websites that have been gleefully copying the entire articles from my blog without my permission.
If you would like to syndicate my articles, please ask me for permission. I am pretty open to any and all such requests and will grant permission as long as the article links back to this blog for attribution and the attribution is very visible and the reader is encouraged to visit this site to read the full story and comment (and of course, your website is a relevant and credible site)

This is something I would like to check into more, to see if it my articles are being scrapped as well. How does one find one’s scrapped articles out on the web? Please give my email a shout with any useful info on this topic

I think CopyScape is a great idea especially if you have quality content. There are many blogs with some really great content which needs to be protected from those who lack the skills to constantly produce quality content for readers.
I think CopyScape does an excellent job in the ‘fight’ against people who want to copy your content and paste it on their site without asking for permission to do so and without giving credit to the author.

I agree that your content is good enough to protect from unwanted crooks. All quality works should be the property of the author, and not passed off as someone else’s without permission. Good move my friend.
